Colonic Hydrotherapy in Dallas
What is a colonic?
Colon therapy is often referred to as colonics, high colonics, colon hydrotherapy or colon irrigation. Simply, it is a gentle irrigation of the colon (or large intestine) using filtered, temperature-regulated water.
A colonic is cleansing of the lower bowel (colon) and it encourages detoxification of the body and establishes muscle tone in the intestine so it can function properly on its own. For maximum results, we recommend a series of colonics to be scheduled over a short period...along with an improved diet program, increased exercise regimen, and plenty of rest.

Why should I get a colonic?
Colon health is fundamental to our overall well-being. The digestive system is designed to process and absorb nutrients while eliminating the matter that it cannot process. Our rule of thumb is that if the colon functions properly, most other body systems seem to function properly.
What to do before your first colonic?
To aid in the effectiveness of the colonic process, we recommend following these simple guidelines:
- Day before your colonic - Eat light (preferably fruits and vegetables only).
- Day of your colonic - Eat light depending upon your appointment time.
- 2 hours prior to your colonic - Absolutely no food or water!!!
Is there something I should do after my colonic?
- Drink plenty of liquids - water, fresh vegetable or fruit juice, h
- Avoid eating raw vegetables for 2 days. If you must eat vegetables, be sure it is steamed and be sure to chew thoroughly.
- Minimize the consumption of meat for 2-3 days.
- We recommend taking a detoxifying bath the evening of your colonic. Use baking soda, Epsom salt, or even 1 cup of raw apple cider vinegar in your bath.
