Massage Therapists / Staff
Hello my name is Yvonne. I have been massaging people for nearly 20 years. It has always been in my nature to provide stress relief and pain relief for family and friends through touch. After leaving my career working in a hospital I decided to pursue Massage Therapy as my profession. I attended and graduated from The National Institute for Health Sciences and Austin Schools of Massage, then furthered my training at Sterling Health Center 4½ years ago and became what my family and friends call “street legal” and now help all those I come in contact with. I feel very privileged to do what I do for a living.
I am a lifetime student of massage and I enhance my techniques more and more with advanced training in various massage modalities. I myself get massage regularly also. Deep tissue is my preference combined with Trigger Point and Myofascial Release. Hot stones are great too! I guess you could say, I’m not just a therapist but a massage enthusiast as well! I have advanced training in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Acupressure, Sports Massage, Lomi Lomi, Prenatal, Reflexology as well as spa type techniques such as Facelift Massage, Body Wraps, Hot Stones and I am also a Reiki Practitioner and Teacher.
Hello I’m Janet. I changed professions in 1996 when I became a Registered Massage Therapist. I knew that I wanted to discover how to help relieve pain without causing more pain in the process. Pre and Post Partum massage initiated me into that effective and comfort touch. I was also attracted to the advanced therapies offered through the Upledger Institute studying CrainoSacral, Visceral Manipulation, and Lymph Drainage Therapy.
This opened my world of discovery and helped me develop an integrative therapeutic treatment for my clients of all ages and at all stages of their pain or discomfort and also with simple relaxation and letting go. I have advanced training in pregnancy and postpartum massage, CraniaoSacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional release, Lymphatic Drainage massage, Raindrop therapy, Visceral Manipulation and more. I am also an infant massage instructor.
I have worked at many top notch spas and for the last 9 years volunteered at Children's Medical Center and was then recruited to work on staff there. I welcome the opportunity to bring my specialties to the clients here at Massage by Design.
Hi, my name is Jude and I love my career. I was recruited personally by Yvonne after she received a massage from me. She said she heard great things about me and my massage, came to visit me, and the rest is history. I was hired the same day and began working here at Massage by Design two days later.
I am skilled in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point and Hot Stones. I really enjoy performing the body scrubs and massage facials too. I am always looking for new techniques to learn based around what the clients really want. My next endeavor will be Thai massage.
I am a songwriter, singer, and guitarist. It is my passion and has been for the last 12 years, along with massage of course.
Now that you know a little about me, I hope to work with and get to know many of the clients at Massage by Design.

Hello, my name is Marilyn. I have been a therapist for 15 years. I have a passion for massage and love giving my clients what they need to feel better and the relationships that I have developed with them over the years. As a therapist you meet the physical need which ultimately helps them in all areas of their life. My future plans are to become a Massage Therapy Instructor. I have completed the course and hours, and will be submitting my paperwork to the state.
My signature massage is deep tissue therapeutic massage. I also enjoy performing chair massage on an ongoing basis. Over the years I have found that there is a population of people who will never get full body work but will take advantage of a chair massage.
If you are in need of a great massage, please call and ask for me. I would love to work with you.
Hi, my name is Mary. For years I wanted to become a Massage Therapist before I finally did 7 years ago. I only regret I didn’t do so earlier. I always felt that Massage was a way to make people feel better whether to relieve stress or help a physical ailment. It makes me feel good to be a part of helping people in this way. Prior to becoming a Massage Therapist I spent a number of years in hospital settings working in the pharmacy.
After starting with the basics of Swedish Massage, I have gone on to study other areas of Massage including Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Aroma Therapy, Reflexology and others. I have started the program at the Upledger Institute where I have completed the primary Lymph Drainage Therapy course. I find it very satisfying to learn new techniques to help my clients. Additionally, I have worked at an Aveda Salon and have trained on their methodologies.
Personally, I enjoy volunteering at a Therapy riding ranch for special needs children. I also enjoy horseback riding and sailing.
I hope to see you at Massage by Design where my satisfaction comes from your feeling less stressed, more relaxed, and physically energized when you leave to enhance your outlook on life.
Hi my name is Leslie! I have a love for the anatomy and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Massage has been a great journey for me and through all of my advanced training has taught me a lot about myself. I am dedicated to my profession and to my clients. I am advanced trained in Swedish, Deep tissue, Prenatal, Reflexology, Orthopedic Massage, Sports Massage, Trigger Point, Lymphatic Drainage, Shiatsu, Acupressure, and Myofascial Release.
I would like to go back to school to learn more about diet and nutrition. I would also like to obtain a Dietician license and become an Aerobics Instructor - but of course, will always continue to expand my knowledge in massage. I have experience and extensive training in a Chiropractic Clinic. I worked with 5 different doctors who had different specialties, ranging from holistic, pain management, and accident and injuries. The experience was wonderful and I was able to utilize many techniques to help clients with specific problems and greatly reduce the symptoms and side effects of pain.
I am a sincere therapist and have a great passion for people! I look forward to meeting you very soon and I know the experience will be awesome for us both!
Hi my name is Lisa Marie. I began my journey into massage therapy starting as a certified nursing assistant and habilitation training specialist. After working with many people in nursing homes, I realized that I wanted to help people in other ways and massage was a great way to do that. I feel like I have found my calling. My passion is to help all those that I can and believe that being a facilitator of clients physical and mental well-being is dependent on treating each client as a whole and through balancing all aspects of our lives with nutrition, exercise and massage. I would love the opportunity to assist you on your journey to happiness and health.
I enjoy time with my son, getting massage and spending time with friends and family. After working as a Nursing assistant, becoming an accountant and then changing directions to continue my path towards helping people, I am happy to continue learning everyday through experiences with each client I meet here at Massage by Design. I look forward to meeting you soon.
